We believe the Bible instructs the church to do three basic things: Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples. We are structuring everything we do to see these three things become a tangible reality in the lives of those who call The Mission Church their church home.

Loving God:

We develop and express our love for God through the singing, praying, giving, learning, and fellowship opportunities presented in our services, Adult Bible Fellowships, prayer communities and bible reading programs. These corporate experiences develop unity and are the springboards that lead to the rest of our mission.

Loving Others:

Knowledge about God and transforming character are intended to have a tangible outflow to other people. Unifying love within the Body and acts of love and service to those outside the Body are the natural and expected fruit of loving God and a transforming life. Lives authentically changed by Jesus can’t help but want to share the gospel in ways that bring hope, healing, provision, and wholeness to a world that needs to experience the love and goodness of God and the new life He makes possible through Jesus.

Making Disciples:

Our Pathway is a visual model for making disciples, both personally and corporately at The Mission Church.

We believe making disciples is the core mandate we've been given by our Master, Jesus. In order to make disciples of Jesus we must have a biblical definition of what a disciple is.

Our key verse is Matthew 4:19 in which Jesus says “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

In this invitation from Jesus, we see the clear definition of a disciple that includes three parts. Therefore our definition of a disciple is this: “a maturing disciple is someone who is following Jesus, being transformed by Jesus, and joining Jesus in His mission”.

Disciples are not created by default or en masse but through an intentional pursuit of accountability and surrender to Spirit-enabled transformation of our bodies, minds, and spirits. Our hope is to emphasize real-life transformation that can happen primarily within biblical and intentional environments like Life Groups, Man 2 Man (men’s), the Table or Circle (women’s) groups. Jesus has not commanded his church to be big. He has commanded that we make disciples.

So The Mission Church exists to Love God, Love Others and Make Disciples. It’s that simple, that challenging, and that awesome. If that sounds like a mission worth giving your life to, we’d love to have you join us as we pursue our mission informed by God’s Word and empowered by His Spirit.
