The Disciple-Making Cohort is a monthly gathering for anyone and everyone engaged in disciple-making, whether you are the disciple-maker or the disciple. This will not be a class but instead will be a peer-to-peer style cohort. A cohort is simply a group of people learning together as they pursue a common goal. In this case, the disciple-making cohort is for anyone and everyone seeking to make disciples and get better at it.
In order to stay encouraged and spur one another on, we will talk openly as a group about what's going well, what's been difficult, identify and workshop our barriers, celebrate victories, pray for each other, and learn from each other as we all seek to engage in obeying Jesus' command to making disciples here in Iowa and to the ends of the earth.
This cohort is open to anyone and everyone regardless of your knowledge, experience, or "skill" at making disciples. Everyone is in a different and unique place and therefore the goal of the cohort is to encourage one another and continually "stoke the fire" for engaging in disciple-making here at The Mission Church
